Dear customers,

I'm needing to make some changes so that I can keep pampering our furry friends... Could you take five minutes to read below and take the survey? There are just 10 questions, you can enter a draw to win an $80 Just Love Dogs Gift eCard, and it's all anonymous.

Just Love Dogs started as a part-time thing, but after finding so many wonderful customers it has grown into a full-time job! Lucky me!

However, if I am to keep offering these services, I need to earn enough to make a living. Currently, I am run off my feet but the business cannot afford to hire any extra help, or allow me the opportunity to take a break without it impacting my family.

I am also near the threshold of having to meet GST obligations, as well as facing increasing costs of supplies and maintaining equipment.

So, very reluctantly, I have accepted that raising prices is now unavoidable. I don’t want to lose my fluffy friends or your trust in me so I am asking for your feedback before I update my price list. I have some ideas to make things as easy as possible for you, too. Here's what I'm thinking:

When the change will happen, and options for customers:

• New prices will apply to bookings from 1 January - I’m currently almost booked up until then.

• Existing bookings for December and January will not be affected.

• Existing discounts for Gold Card and CSC holders will continue.

• I will introduce a Loyalty Card for my wonderful repeat customers.

• I'll continue offering After Pay TM.

• I'm looking into a Subscription plan to help you spread out payments between grooms.

• In the survey, I have some other ideas I'd like your feedback on.

  
  

There are two price increase options I am considering:

Option 1: An increase of on average 17% across all services - to cover GST of 15% and help with other costs.

• The increases will go towards paying GST and costs.

• Prices would go up by $10 to $15 on most services. Longest/largest grooms go up $20-25.

Option 2: An increase of up to 20% across all services - this would give me more stability 

• The increases would cover GST, costs, and potentially mean I could get some help in time.

• Prices would go up by $10 to 21 on most services - longest/largest grooms would go up $25-30.
